A 70bpm beat/loop sequenced using renoise 3. 0. Samples were either created from scratch or modified after being recorded in my basement using the sampler built into renoise. The microphone used for recorded samples (of a keychain) is the one that comes along with the m-audio microtrack 24/96. Sounds good in reverse too.

Acid bass: 110 bpm c2 note, not your typical saw/square basslines. High sweeping filters in parallel sampled in ableton using massive, compression using psp compressor2 and psp warmer. Random presets, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down. Created in bitwig out of sampling and layering my own library sounds to make a new gun sound, perhaps a suitable as a sniper rifle.

Bell-like sound created in pro tools by treating a hi-hat sample with the grm reson plug-in. I think of it as a blend of a gong, bell and triangle.

This is a sample of the work progress in our course of sound creation laboratory from pompeu fabra university. The story begins at a friends meeting, continue at the disco, and then it finishing going home.

Sounds of a modded danelectro 59'er guitar. 3 pickups, 2 dynamic levels. Some extraneous sounds are left in, and can be faded/cut out or included to make the sampled playing more realistic.
